How much does an AloNuko garment cost?

Our bespoke wedding, evening and bridesmaid dresses start from £1415. The price then depends on the exact style and material composition. It is useful to advise us of your budget so we can guide you on what style and fabric to use.

What is the process of having a bespoke garment made just for me?

Once you make an enquiry on the appointments page, you will receive an estimated quote for the garment you are looking for:

  • We will then schedule a consultation appointment to discuss your exact style idea
    and a sketch will be complete.
  • An email will be sent to you the next day including your garment invoice,
    payment dates and fitting dates for you to confirm.

How much time do I need to have a garment made?

We would advise to start your booking about 6 months or more in advance. Generally, we do not start bookings more than a year in advance and any bookings made within 4 months to the due date, will be classed as an express booking.

Do you provide an express service?

Yes we do. If you book with us in under 4 months to the garment due date, this will be classed as an express booking. For this service, there will be an additional fee which can vary. Please let us know if you are an express customer and we will give you a quote for this
along with your dress quote.

Do I have to book a consultation or is it walk ins?

All our consultations are by appointment only, we hold these on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
and Friday in the evening. If you require a specific date or time, please let us know and we will try to accommodate
for this. There is a consultation fee of £25.

Should I bring anything to prepare for my consultation?

If you have any inspirational images, swatches or ideas that you have collated, it will be a good idea to bring them along with you to your initial consultation. This will help us to get a clear idea of what you are after and assist with the design process.

Who can I bring to the consultations and fittings?

We acknowledge that deciding on your dream dress is not always a decision you can make alone and for this reason, we welcome up to 3 people to accompany you. Please be aware that we are unable to accommodate children.

What payment methods do you take?

We accept bank transfers, PayPal and cash. If you are booking a consultation appointment, we require this to be paid 48 hours after we confirm the date to secure the booking, this will need to be paid by bank transfer or PayPal as we do not take cash for this on the day. If you are making an instalment payment, we can take cash for this if need be.

I don’t live in the UK, how does the process change for me?

No problem. We cater for overseas clients too. We will hold the consultation appointment via Skype and other communication by email. You can decide two options:

  1. To have the dress made to a UK standard dress size
  2. Have a toile (mock dress) sent to you to try on using your measurements, we will send you a measuring guide for this. These options will be discussed in more detail during your consultation appointment.

What if I lose or gain weight?

This should not be a problem. We can schedule a later measurement appointment and reserve your sewing time for a period closer to your wedding, this is subject to availability, to allow you to reach your target weight before we begin production. You are able to lose or
gain weight between fittings but we would suggest to limit this as if you lose or gain to much, this can cause a major alteration. For this service, there will be an additional cost.

Do you offer an alterations service?

Whilst we would love to be of assistance in every way possible, unfortunately, we do not offer an alteration service of already bought dresses. We do of course alter garments from us, if necessary.

It’s your wedding day! Of course we didn’t expect you to dress yourself!

Our job doesn’t have to end at the studio. To ensure your Bespoke AloNuko gown looks just how it should before you say I do, and stays looking flawless throughout your big day, we can be there right by your side, keeping our eyes on you every step of the way.
You won’t have to worry about how your train will lay in your pictures, or whether your veil is in the right position.

Whether your big day is set to take place abroad or within the U.K, we can be there to ensure you look and feel as perfect as you should.
