Alonuko Refresh Terms and Conditions

Introduction

This document outlines the terms and conditions for the Alonuko Refresh platform, which facilitates the resale of previously owned Alonuko dresses and offers optional services such as alterations, add-ons, and dry cleaning. Last updated on December 4th 2024.

1. Definitions

  • Refresh Dress: A previously owned Alonuko dress, sold through the Refresh platform.
  • Buyer: The individual purchasing a Refresh Dress.
  • Seller: The original owner of the dress, selling it through the Refresh platform.
  • Refresh Services: Includes optional alterations, add-ons, and dry cleaning services offered by Alonuko.
  • Final Price: The agreed price of the Refresh Dress, inclusive of additional services requested by the Buyer.

2. Dress Condition and Pricing

  • All Refresh Dresses are sold on an 'as is' basis. A detailed description of the dress's condition will be provided to the Buyer before purchase.
  • The Final Price is determined based on the dress's condition, which is inspected on-site by Alonuko.
  • No returns or exchanges are permitted after purchase.

3. Payment Terms

  • Full payment for the Refresh Dress and any additional services is required on the day of purchase.
  • Payment must be made before the dress can be taken by the Buyer.
  • Accepted payment methods include card payments or bank transfers.
  • All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

4. Optional Services

Buyers may opt for additional services, including:

  • Alterations: Customisation to the fit or design of the Refresh Dress.
  • Add-ons: Additional features such as veils or embellishments.
  • Dry Cleaning: Professional cleaning services before or after purchase.

Fees for these services are agreed upon separately and must be paid upfront along with the dress price.

5. Collection

  • All Refresh Dresses must be collected on the day of purchase.
  • Alonuko will not store dresses after the transaction is complete.
  • Ownership and risk transfer to the Buyer once payment is received and the dress is handed over.

6. Alterations and Service Liability

  • Alonuko will not be liable for fit issues resulting from Buyer-provided measurements or changes in the Buyer’s body after alterations are completed.
  • Any damage to the dress during alterations or cleaning services will be limited to cases of gross negligence by Alonuko.
  • Service timelines for alterations and cleaning will be agreed upon at the time of purchase.

7. Order Cancellation

  • Once payment has been made, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • If the Buyer fails to collect the dress on the scheduled day, Alonuko reserves the right to treat the order as abandoned, and no refunds will be issued.

8. Our Liability

  • Alonuko guarantees that all Refresh Dresses are inspected and condition reports provided before the sale.
  • Alonuko will not be liable for:
  • Fit issues due to Buyer-provided measurements or post-purchase body changes.
  • Damage or loss of the dress after it has been collected by the Buyer.

  • Any dissatisfaction with the "as is" condition of the dress once it has been collected.
  • Alonuko’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Refresh Dress and does not extend to any additional services purchased.

9. Marketing and Usage

By purchasing through the Refresh platform, the Buyer agrees that Alonuko may use images of the Refresh Dress for marketing purposes, including before and after alterations or cleaning.

10. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
