Alonuko welcomes first exec hire|CFO

We are delighted to announce the appointment of James Sesay as our first executive hire as Chief Financial & Strategy Officer, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey. James, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and qualified accountant (ACA), brings nearly a decade of expertise in finance and strategy, having held prominent roles at PwC, Arden Partners, and Capital Group.

As the new head of financial strategy and management, James will drive Alonuko’s financial planning, strategic growth, operations and risk management. At Capital Group, he helped manage portfolios exceeding $500 million, conducting equity research and analysis across European and emerging markets, particularly in the consumer sector. His career has also included developing investment frameworks at Arden Partners and gaining extensive audit and financial analysis experience at PwC within the banking sector.
